The Home Builders Association of Southwestern Michigan (HBA of SW Michigan) is a professional trade association representing the residential construction, home building, remodeling, and related industries throughout Southwestern Michigan. Since 1979, we have worked to strengthen our local building industry through education, advocacy, professional development, networking, and high standards of ethics and service.

“The Home Builders Association of Southwestern Michigan, Inc., chartered in 1979, exists to promote and strengthen the building and remodeling industry throughout our service area.”

We accomplish our mission by:

Providing educational programs and professional development opportunities
Serving as a liaison between the building industry, government, and community leaders
Promoting high standards of professionalism and ethical business practices
Supporting licensing and compliance with applicable requirements
Advocating for policies that support a strong and sustainable housing market
Providing opportunities for members to connect, network, and grow their businesses
